At Project Physio, we provide mobile physiotherapy services across the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Noosa regions, helping people stay active, independent and safe in their own homes.

Our physiotherapists travel directly to clients, delivering professional in-home physiotherapy for older adults, people recovering from injury or surgery, and those who prefer treatment in the comfort of their own home.

We also support clients receiving government-funded aged care services through the Support at Home program, making it easier to access physiotherapy without needing to travel to a clinic.

Providing physiotherapy in the home allows us to deliver practical, personalised care that supports everyday function, whether that’s walking safely around the house, managing stairs, or improving balance to prevent falls.

Physiotherapy Through the Support at Home Program

The Support at Home program is part of the Australian Government’s aged care reforms designed to help older Australians remain living independently in their own homes for longer.

Through Support at Home funding, clients may be able to access allied health services such as physiotherapy as part of their care plan.

Mobile physiotherapy can support:

  • Falls prevention and balance training

  • Strength and mobility programs

  • Rehabilitation after hospital stays

  • Arthritis and joint pain

  • Massage therapy and chronic pain management

  • Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease or stroke

  • Improving confidence with walking and daily activities

At Project Physio, we work closely with care coordinators, case managers, GPs and families to ensure physiotherapy integrates smoothly with a client’s broader care plan.

Why Choose Mobile Physiotherapy?

For many people, travelling to a clinic can be difficult due to mobility challenges, transport limitations or health concerns.

Mobile physiotherapy provides several advantages:

Personalised Care in Your Own Home

Treatment occurs in the environment where daily activities actually happen — making exercises more practical and relevant.

Reduced Travel Stress

Clients don’t need to organise transport or leave home for appointments.

Falls Prevention

Physiotherapists can assess the home environment directly, identifying potential fall risks and recommending practical solutions.

Improved Independence

Programs are tailored to help clients maintain mobility, confidence and independence at home.
